The PC/4000 and PC/5000 are IBM PC compatible machines running MS-DOS 2.25 on an 80C88 with a 20x8 character, backlit, graphics capable (120x64) screen. They have 256KB of battery-backed system RAM with either fixed (in the PC/4000) or expandable (in the PC/5000) battery-backed storage.

They have a single external interface via a 50-pin DD50 connector.
