Before the Timex Sinclair #TS1000 became available, Timex initially sold the ZX81 albeit with 2KB of RAM and NTSC video output.

This example has a home brew keyboard (replacing the original membrane) and wire-wrapped 16KB RAM expansion, both created by the original owner in the 1980s.

The machine still works.
