Today marks Round 3 of the Middle of the Pack Racing League (MPRL) Radical Eurotrip Championship for 2023 as brought to you on iRacing! We shall be taking a look back at all of the racing action which occurred on Wednesday 20th September, bringing it to you as if it were live!
In this round the paddock heads to the United Kingdom for a British double-header which begins at Brands Hatch. Spanning only 2.43 miles in length, the Kent county circuit may be one of the shortest on our calendar, but makes up for its lack in length via the technical challenge it presents. With nine fast-flowing corners which exhibit varying degrees of camber and only one extended straight, our drivers shall need to master the art of carrying speed from corner to corner should they wish to secure victory here!
In the PRO class, despite being held to a third place finish at Zolder, James Logsdon continues to lead with a nine point advantage over Peter Lo. Championship momentum seems to be building for Logsdon, can anyone stop him from making an early break?
In the PRO-AM class, with back-to-back podiums, Illya Spiecker has slightly extended his lead over Adam Ballard to six points. However watch out for Jon Lauzon who, after taking his first win of the season last week, will be eager to secure back-to-back wins!
In the AM class, following a superb drive to victory last week, Nicholas Feller has taken the lead by four points over Kevin Manning. With only nine points separating the top five, can Feller begin to establish an advantage? Or will we see a new name on top after today?
