According to the latest info, Navi 31 (just one of the SKUs that make up RDNA 3) will MASSIVELY overhaul the compute units and architecture that we see now in RDNA 2. We've heard a lot about how some RDNA 3 GPUs will have chiplets as part of their architecture, but the huge changes for Navi 3X do not stop there. These alleged overhauls to the compute units found in Navi 31's architecture are HUGE, and RDNA 3 Navi 3X could finally see AMD overtake Nvidia in raw gaming (rasterisation) performance.
