NES Alphanumeric! #038: CAPTAIN AMERICA AND THE AVENGERS (Pt. 2)
I live stream 8-bit Nintendo games at least once a week, usually WedNESdays from 10–11 p.m. Eastern, and sometimes on Friday nights.
MINI-REVIEW: Sorry for the technical difficulties, from the authentic old school blinking cartridge to the system crash that interrupted the stream. It was like the universe was trying to prevent me from playing this deeply mediocre game. The controls and character sprites are pretty good, but the backgrounds are bad to boring, the gameplay is repetitive and sort of annoying, and there just isn't enough here to hold your interest unless, perhaps, you are a serious Marvel fan -- which I, clearly, am not. I do really like Captain America, at least in the latest films, but this game is uninspired.
