NES Alphanumeric! #040: CAPTAIN SKYHAWK
I live stream 8-bit Nintendo games at least once a week, usually WedNESdays from 10–11 p.m. Eastern, and sometimes on Friday nights.
MINI-REVIEW: Boy, this is a tricky game to get used to, with the controls and isometric view, but it looks and sounds great, and it actually handles pretty well. Perhaps the levels are a bit repetitive, but there is some variety in the game, and the challenge level seems appropriate—you need to practice a lot, but the game rarely seems unfair or broken. Perhaps it's simply slightly unintuitive from time to time. Best of all, it offers a bit of fun, so I actually wanted to keep playing it longer.
