This trick has been known for a while; it was found by Satoryu a long time ago.
By quitting a mission, you are automatically teleported to its location. Most of the time, it's an annoyance, but it's useful to teleport closer to the Rank 1 entrance. The gig at the bus station (Gig 17 on Wii/Switch/PC) is the closest one, but the high school is reasonably close, and the Pizza Butt parking garage (as seen for PS3 here) is also not too far.
It's possible to teleport on PS3, but it works differently. You have the option to teleport to missions you've already completed, so you have to do the gig at least once beforehand. Quitting the mission will then put you right outside. This variant works on the International version of Heroes' Paradise (including Red Zone); the original JP version can use the original Wii teleport.
While most people would (and should) only care about Wii/Switch/PC, I included the PS3 footage to show some version differences while I had the chance. Besides the obvious difference in the teleport, notice the differences in dashing, the menu screens, etc.
