Ooliacile Township is definitely one of the areas I'd recommend to always explore a bit. If nothing else for the silver pendant which makes an upcoming boss fight much more manageable.

As for the actual township, the main enemy here is gravity, akin to 3-2 in Demon Souls you're probably going to fall off once or twice here at least. The enemies aren't varied or even that difficult when you get down to it. A melee type, and one mage type that uses dark magic.

All in all, Oolacile is one of the easier dungeons but more than makes up for it with a ferocious boss. You also want to be sure to pick up the crest key, without it you can never fight kalameet. Just be sure to kill the mimic last on that floor if you want to be completely safe. If the key drops to the ground and you die, it's lost until next play through so be careful and don't fight it on stairs! You're liable to leave the key in a position you can't reach which brings me back to above.
