In addition to finding the blood rock location I also get to flex my pvp skillz. It's a feature many love, and many hate, personally I think it's a needed evil. Regardless, if you want to survive online in Bloodborne you have to get better.

This is because in Bloodborne in some of the more advanced areas if you're online, bell maidens spawn automatically and start ringing their sinister bell. Your only choice to not be invaded is to go offline because in all likelihood if you're online exploring the level, you're going to be invaded here and the nightmare frontier.

Finding the blood rock is as easy as paying attention to the little details which is surprisingly easy to overlook. Namely, pay attention to where the game drops you after you flip the lever dropping mother brain.
