0With GenLt. Rosebrecht out of the picture, the Allies’ squeeze can continue unabated. However, that doesn’t mean your stint will become just paperwork and reconnaissance, as your expertise is still at a premium. The good news, at least, is that the name of the game for this assignment is obliteration, not assassination.
Nestled in the Harz Mountains and having evaded surveillance for years, Außenposten Neudorf is considered by many to be the petrochemical heart of the Luftwaffe. Under the guidance of Oberst Otto Müller, no less, the outpost had made tremendous strides from the intelligence equivalent of navel lint to a vital umbilicus for the German Air Force. Don’t let the train whistles, missile explosions, and plane engines distract you; this is very much a powder keg begging for retrofitting.
That being said, your mission will be an ostensibly straightforward one. Slink into the compound, acquire the three explosive satchels left by one of the base’s moles, plant them at key pressure points for the imminent Allied bombing run, and escape the area before you end up as a casualty of war. With squadrons scattered about like enraged ants in a desperate bid for maintaining territory, it may very well be up to you to vacate Neudorf for the benefit of the flyboys.
