Fortuitously, with the front stably in favor of the Allies’ advance, there’s plenty of opportunities available for you to prove your mettle.
Case in point, Generalleutnant Walther Rodebrecht. As the verdant summer of 1944 morphed into the golden twilight of autumn, a name in battle reports has grown increasingly prevalent, especially in particularly difficult confrontations. Indeed, Rodebrecht’s association with rabid persistence and gruesome violence has made him of a wunderkind in the Wehrmacht, sweating bricks as their iron fist loosens and desperate for any idol to propagandize. Confirmed to be lurking around the Alsatian village of Saint-Pierre as his training ground for a revanchist counterstrike, Allied brass are expecting you to cauterize any chance of Nazi turnabout by any means necessary.
Luckily for you, his savior complex also doubles as his Achilles’ heel, especially with how the tide of the war is flowing. Vanquish the village patrol, stage a false flag, and remind him just how non-negotiable the carnage his underexperienced prestige incurs. “GenLt.” may precede Rodebrecht’s relatively youthful status, but that hasn’t stopped you from weeding out bigger targets of interest in the past.
