0From the moment the Nazis attempted to conquer Europe, Oberst Otto Müller has been a fixture on Allied hit lists. Praised across the Luftwaffe as “The New Red Baron” as vehemently as he is hated by the USSR for his indiscriminate air raids, it’s a mystery how the consequentialists would give someone of his notoriety a second chance. True as it is that his exaltation of V2 technology makes him a hot commodity among postbellum warmongers, it’s nevertheless surprising that Müller’s reputation as an archetypical war criminal hasn’t precluded him from any sort of clemency.
Perhaps self-awareness of that fact, in conjunction with the rudimentary arrogance of a hero keeping watch over his crumbling capital, is what led him to Tiergarten this very night. Hidden in plain sight, as it were, between the roars of artillery fire and bomber engines. The soothing presence of a wunderkind to his fatigued admirers amid the heat of battle… but fatally too starstruck to notice the lens glint from the citadel neighboring them.
There’s a bullet in your stash with Müller’s name on it, so make sure you reserve it as you plow a path to the sniper’s nest. Skirmish with the Soviets, sneak your way past the Heer’s nerve center, and use the battle around you to your advantage when you rumble on the rooftop. Stalin’s been itching to excise him for as long as he’s been a thorn in the Eastern Front, so consider your penultimate assassination as another means of stealing the Reds’ thunder. Execute this and survive, and Dr. Wolff’s bound to feel that hydraulic press squeeze his skull.
