Picked up two Play It Loud series DMG's and a Game Boy Color recently. The Game Boy Color is in very good condition and of the two DMG's one was in good condition and the other was absolutely mint! I had sold my last Game Boy Color years ago and so wanted to get another one and I've never owned any of the Play It Loud series before. I completely forgot (or never knew it at all) that they came in these clear cases.

The Black Play it Loud was in such good shape that I just threw a new black glass screen protector on it and called it a day. I'm going to leave the black one stock. The green one is in good shape but had very minor damage to the screen. I can only assume this is sun damage as it caused a redish/purple circle pattern to appear in the center of the screen that is only noticeable at extreme viewing angles. But I swear the contrast on it was a little more faded than a DMG already is. It was still usable but clearly less than ideal. The backlight mod (most likely the new polarizing lens that goes with it) seems to have helped. You can still see the redish circle but it doesn't seem to effect image quality. The screen looks great after the mod! Several of the plastic screw posts were also broken. They were crumbling apart into many pieces just from the slightest touch! Honestly though aside from the one corner having a little play in it you'd never know otherwise. It looks great, still feels mostly solid otherwise and plays perfectly!
