The trainers on Route 25 can become annoying because they have Pokémon that can't be OHKO'd. The main reason for KO'ing my other Pokémon is so the battle with the two Lasses wouldn't be a hard double battle. That last trainer's Porygon is annoying to because it barely survives a Waterfall that isn't in Torrent range.
I spoke to Misty and flew back to Saffron City. I entered Route 8 and dodged some rotating trainers. The Gentleman is required, but he's very easy to beat. I reached Lavender Town and received the Radio Expansion Card. I flew back to Vermilion City and got the Rare Candy in the Pokémon Fanclub. I saved after entering the gym.

Saved at 3:16 with a L56 Feraligatr.
