Pokémon Heart Gold Improved Speed Run Segment 28
1Time to head off to Kanto! I got the SS Aqua ticket from Elm and the National Dex from Oak. I entered the SS Aqua and found the sleeping buddy of the Sailor blocking my path. I let all my Pokémon, but Feraligatr, faint and OHKO'd his team. I found the little girl and the old man gave me a useless Metal Coat.
I entered Virmilion City and flew to it's Pokémon Center to skip the Suicune scene. I dodged all trainers on Route 6 and skipped the Saffron gym. You can see I did Kanto completely different than in my previous run. I decided to fight all the normal trainers first and then going into the gyms. I went through Route 5 and 9 and fought an easy trainer.
I entered the Power Plant next and talked to the manager. I flew back to Cerulean City where I met the Rocket Grunt. I defeated him and found the Machine Part. I went back to the Power Plant to deliver it and got a useless price again. I defeated a trainer in Route 25 and saved to split the segment up or it would be very long.
