Pokémon Heart Gold Improved Speed Run Segment 27
0The last two battles in Johto are in this segment. I started with Karen and used a X-Attack and X-Speed on Feraligatr during Umbreon. It's then 2HKO'd by Waterfall. Vileplume is OHKO'd by Ice Fang, Gengar by Crunch, Murkrow by Ice Fang and Houndoom by Waterfall. I switched Feraligatr and went into the final room.
Lance isn't that hard if you know what to do. I sacrficed Sandshrew and powered up Feraligatr with an X-Attack and X-Speed. Gyarados is a 3HKO with Crunch. All three of his Dragonite are OHKO'd Ice Fang. Aerodactyl and Charizard are defeated by Waterfall.
I finally entered the Hall Of Fame with a L53 Feraligatr and a time of 2:57. This is almost a whopping 20 minutes faster than my previous run and Kanto will follow.
