I went straight to the gym where I talked with Dawn and Crasher Wake. The gym puzzle is annoying with those slow moving punching bags. 1 Black Belt is optional, but I decided to battle 2. Here I made clever use of Grotle's Overgrow so it can OHKO some Pokémon. A Swagger from Croagunk is fixed with a Full Heal and with the Attack boost I can OHKO the next Machoke thanks to a nice Critical Hit. This was needed because that Meditite avoided one of Grotles Razor Leafs. I solved another part of the puzzle and let Grotle evolve by using my Rare Candy. This makes Maylene a lot easier. I saved before a moving Black Belt because it would suck to let him see me right before the end of the segment.
