I couldn't tell if at first this was a team that my opponent used when going through the game, which was my first guess from seeing Quaquaval and Scovillain on my opponent's team, but with two Pokémon that could only be transferred over from Pokémon HOME, it looked to be a player that uses whichever they want. I almost never come across Scovillain in any online battles I have done, well aside from players that make use of its Hidden Ability of Moody, which increases a random stat of Scovillain's by two stages, but lowers a random stat by one stage, and some are used on sun teams with Chlorophyll.
For some reason, Sneasler and Quaquaval don't have nicknames, while Scovillain and Ursaluna do have them. It was good to see a player using Quaquaval in an online battle, because this is the Starter Pokémon that I see the least when doing online battles. Going over the Pokémon that I use, Veluza is another Pokémon that I have waited to use for a while in online battles, but it wasn't easy to find a team for this Pokémon, this is because Veluza's signature move is Fillet Away, it's like Shell Smash, the difference is that move cuts the Pokémon's HP in half instead of reducing Defense and Special Defense like Shell Smash does, and as Veluza does not have good defensive stats, I find that it is better in a Double Battle team. The strategy is to have Indeedee use Follow Me while Veluza boosts her stats with Fillet Away, and she is EV trained in Attack and Speed, with enough HP investment so that the Sitrus Berry can be used after using Fillet Away. Veluza has Aqua Cutter and Psycho Cut for her STAB moves, and they pair well with Sharpness, and I have Aqua Jet for priority, but I didn't realize it until this battle that Aqua Jet will not work when Psychic Terrain is active, and that I had forgotten that Psychic Terrain negates priority moves, and I replace Aqua Jet from Veluza with another move, which you will see what it is whenever I next use Veluza in an online battle.
Articuno is one of the few Legendary Pokémon that I have not used in Pokémon Sword & Shield online battles, this was because it was very difficult to find a team to use for this Pokémon, as its type combo is 4x weak to Rock. I have found a team to put it to work on, Articuno's main use is to Terastallize to a Water Tera Type and use Tera Blast, and for its moves, Freeze-Dry is its main Ice-type move, I have it instead of Ice Beam because Freeze-Dry is super effective against Water-type Pokémon, and Icy Wind is there to slow down opponents. Articuno has the Covert Cloak to prevent it from being affected by secondary effects, and with Sneasler's Dire Claw having a 50% chance of inflicting paralysis, poison, or sleep, the Covert Cloak can be put to work when up against it.
