Red Alert 3 Uprising Commander's Challenges "Par Time only" - Mission 44th - Come And Get It
Hello ladies and gentlemen! Stimer Games is here! I've finally started cooking some epic content to release. It's Red Alert 3 Uprising Commander's challenges, except with additional rules that i came up this Spring.
Rules of the challenge:
1.Go strictly by the path that is unlocked over time, no skipping and no leaping
2.Finish each secondary mission before coming onto the next primary mission
3.Always go for Par Time, never finishing the mission without par time and then finishing it under with the unlocked unit or the fully unlocked tech
4.OP tactics, AI manipulation and oversight exploits are allowed (Dojo Rush, Empire air units swarm, other map tricks and etc. are allowed)
5.Good luck commando

Alright for the next 3 missions we'll be using the strategy that i'll talk about later.
The mission itself doesn't seem to be too bad on hand: one opponent who's not going to attack us first, and the super weapon is usually built in other missions... The problem is that the opponent is going Defense, that's right: Not only his units will be defending the base, but also there are additional 3-4 Defender turrets, successfully countering our Dojo Rush unless we try to trick their Anti-Ground/Anti-Air modes using burst drones.
So... what's the strategy here? Well ladies and gentlemen, i'm introducing you the "Super Reactor Bomb" strategy: Build a crane on the base right next to Refinery's position. Then once it's done start building a reactor and refinery through the crane while MCV is going onto enemy's base. Since it's a Soviet MCV, he's 25% tankier and so he can survive the turrets and hide behind the MCV of your enemy. Now, place the Super Reactor in front of turrets and instantly pause its construction.
Now let's talk about why is it a thing and why you should pause the construction. Prior ot patch 1.11 of RA3 the Super Reactor still caused an explosion when it was destroyed while it was still in construction (if you force-cancel it - nothing explodes). This later was fixed in Red Alert 3, but since Uprising is built on version 1.10 and never received that patch, the exploding "Under-construction" Super Reactor is still there and can be abused.
First explosion goes and takes out all turrets and Dojo, if possible. Next thing - build a factory somewhere nearby while also placing another Super Reactor bomb. For some reasons the AI prioritises it over the MCV, which can save your wounded mobile circus. Even if the enemy still targets your Construction Yard, just pack it and the enemy will ignore it. For some reasons the MCV just has very low priority over every other building.
After factory build the Barracks close to your MCV and train an engineer to repair it. Along with it produce some terror drones. Via engineer you also scare away the MCV, so let terror drone inside and the enemy MCV is basically dead. Most of the time the Mecha Bay is built outside of Shinso's base, so that's another reason to construct Factory + Barracks, to use Mortar-cycles as our artillery.
Now that the Mecha Bay is gone, we can take care of the rest. How exactly? Well... we can... simply capture what's left xd. This is the last time when we're gonna encounter Shinzo Nagara, and so we'll not see him in the last missions. He now sees as a true warrior in us and lets us take the Psionic Decimator.
Alright key units: MCV, Super Reactor, Engineers, Terror Drones and Mortar Cycles. First is our literal "attack force" to deploy our "bombs", second are literal boms, third are our "cure", fourth are our "curse" and fifth are our... ugh... "cycles" of... melee and range? yeah this sounds awkward.
Psionic Decimator has same problem as other 2 Super weapons: we barely build such stuff in our missions, let alone use them with their 6 minutes timers.
