Red Alert 3 Uprising Commander's Challenges "Par Time only" - Mission 42nd - Battle Room
Hello ladies and gentlemen! Stimer Games is here! I've finally started cooking some epic content to release. It's Red Alert 3 Uprising Commander's challenges, except with additional rules that i came up this Spring.
Rules of the challenge:
1.Go strictly by the path that is unlocked over time, no skipping and no leaping
2.Finish each secondary mission before coming onto the next primary mission
3.Always go for Par Time, never finishing the mission without par time and then finishing it under with the unlocked unit or the fully unlocked tech
4.OP tactics, AI manipulation and oversight exploits are allowed (Dojo Rush, Empire air units swarm, other map tricks and etc. are allowed)
5.Good luck commando
Number of attempts before the final: 0
Nanoswarm - Hard (1 v 3; Soviets (Vera Belova), Empire (Shinzo Nagama) and Allies (Giles Price); Fogged map) [Battle Room]
Alright, we had water only and medium tanks only missions. Now it's time for infantry only map. We're given 3 MCVs of our picked faction, and 3 Hospitals.
Let's see which units we haven't used yet and which are the perfect examples. Cryo Legionnaire is a fun choice, but we're probably not gonna try it (altho may try it later). The other Uprising exclusive infantry - Desolate Trooper.
Let's make Moskvin proud and use these... ill people who were forcibly put into these suits and brainwashed to not complain about anything. We'll go for quick Tier 3, and then when we've reached it - sell 2 MCVs and produce... produce Natasha first, she's going to be the leader of our attack group. After her - spam Desolate Troopers.
Desolate Trooper is good both against infantry with its toxic spray, and good against armored stuff because of corrosion weapon. They're also tanky against anti-infantry in comparison to Tesla Troopers. Only two problems - production time and cost. Not only that, but after rewatching the video i've noticed that AI is programmed to move away its infantry from toxic sources. So that means that instead of approaching us the enemy will be running away.
Natasha as a leader will take care of targets from far away and buildings. She also can pilot snipe... harvesters and MCVs, yeah, not a good ability here. Opponents here are gonna be a serious threat, since they'll be trying to use all kinds of infantry (to my knowledge, they use nearly everyone including commandos but excluding Rocket Angels (which i'm not even sure if they're unlocked here or not)).
Key units - Natasha and Desolate Trooper. Consider Natasha as our effective one-shotting artillery, while Desolators are our main attack forces.
Nanoswarm is a defense building of Empire and... yeah, not an useful one. It can trap enemy forces, but... yeah, not a lot of usage for it. It does have an unique combo with Proton Collider but there's no way that we're getting such combo in the last 8 missions
