Red Alert 3 Uprising Commander's Challenges "Par Time only" - Mission 35th - Battle Royale
Rules of the challenge (read in other descriptions)
Number of attempts before the final: 1
Naginata Cruiser - Medium-Hard (1 v 1 v 1 v 1; Empire (Shinzo Nagama, Takara Sato and Kenji Tenzai); Fogged map) [Battle Royalle]
Here's our first mission where all 3 commanders belong to the same faction. This mission, in comparison to the other 2 with similar case, is a lot easier for a sole reason: It's FFA. It's not 1v3, but rather that every are fighting everyone. This helps us with making our force to swipe out all 3 of them.
To briefily explain all 3 opponents: Shinso will go for expansionless forces (except for Archer Maiden) without much relying on transforming forces like Tengus and VXs; Kensi, on the other hand, will focus more on the latest 2 units, along with addding Steel Ronins and some water into his mess. Takara, as usually, will focus more on water rather than on ground, and yes she can progress up to Giga-Fortress. Also all 3 of them will be uptying up to tier 3s, so don't feel relaxed.
We continue as Empire and.... i could say that we could go with cheesy strategies like VX spam or Dojo Rushes... but... let's try something unique since we're given less attention and enough time.
I'd highly suggest going for 4 Refineries. Not only this map actually allows that (don't take the center refinery however, it's kinda risky), but because it'll help your economy a lot. Other than 4 refineries you'll need 2-3 Power Plants, Dojo and Mecha Bay, and Tier 3 building in the second half of the mission. In Dojo you must train 2 Imperial Warriors and place them near two of your Refineries to scare away Burst Drones and prevent them from slowing down your economy. Wall your island expansion so Shinso won't try to harrass you.
Additionally you can train Shinobis from your Dojo and sneakily get them into enemy's MCVs. Not only it'll give you additional observation, but it'll also give you the information of who's currently defending each base.
Leave the Dojo alone until you build the Tier 3 Building. Upgrade Mecha Bay to tier 2. Upgrading to tier 3 is also an option but that's for later, after we're done with one opponent. What kind of units we'll go here on tier 2? Well... which unit we haven't used a lot... Hm... Steel Ronin, that's... actually a nice option. But Stimer, you told us before that he's terrible against infantry... Yes, on his own he's terrible, but however his special deals around half the HP of Tank Buster's HP, but since we'll be spamming them, all of them using the skill at once on a group of infantry will evaporate them. Plus we'll be picking the Honorable Discharge (NO, not that one! Get out of here, Reindeer Ishmael!!) to make our melee units even more dangerous.
Now the only thing we lack in this army - anti-air. Don't worry, we'll be adding some Tengus into it. Tengus also may help with annoying infantries. Our opponents obviously will be placing buildings on water where Steel Ronins can't reach them... well, that's where our Tier 3 comes in play: Either Wave-force Artillery or Yuriko can help with this problem. King Onis also can be added, if you want to add even more robots into your Gunpla army.
Alright, now as for who's to take out first? go for Kenji who's the Green Empire player, since his VX Choppers will be kinda annoying to deal with. After leaving him barely alive, go to Takara who's... oh, right, i've forgot to tell a thing. It seems that developers have forgot to give her a specific color. Because of that she can be Capitalist (Blue), Communist (Red), Yuriko Number One Fan (Pink), Actual Purple Empire (Purple) or XYHC's enjoyer (Teal). The other 2 opponents have probably just progressed for their Super Weapons, so we need to act quickly. Additional bonus thing that i want to say about Steel Talons... Ronins i mean, is that they can't be crushed, so you don't need to worry about MCV accidentally killing your melee units.
After Takara - Shinzo is next. Do the same and etc. And once again, leave water buildings either to Tengus, or to your Artillery or Yuriko. In my case i used Yuriko, but you're free to go, for example, with Rocket Angels as well.
Key units of this mission - Steel Ronin, Tengus and depending on your choice - either Wave-force Artillery, Yuriko or Rocket Angels. I used Yuriko, so i'll mention her, since she's a great "Let me 1v1 the entity". Other 2 - Steel Ronin just to make Khamsin proud, and Tengus because... Caw!
Naginata Cruiser, while it's good, it's... just boring. Not only its skill can Friendly Fire your forces and barely hit multiple units unless used right in front of the face of a target, but it also cannot go onto land. That's 2 Empire water units who can't do anything against ground. However... we'd have to use it in the next mission, even for a bit.
