Return to Shironagasu Island (Pt 8): Neo Discovers the True Purpose Shironagasu Island's Research
8[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Neo and the rest of the survivors find themselves trapped in the guest house thanks to two separate bombs Gisele left behind, one of them being attached outside the guest house door. Deciding to take care of the other bomb they CAN reach, Neo/Ikeda gets to work on disarming it.
After a few unsuccessful attempts Neo eventually succeeds in disarming the first bomb, although the second one detonates and takes out the door to the guest house, although fortunately no one is hurt. Heading over to the mansion, the rest of the group reunites with Akira, but shortly after this they receive an ominous phone call from Vincent, where the butler tells Ikeda that Shironagasu Island is going to be the "ground zero" for the "new world", before sending a very unexpected attacker on the group: An immortal zombie Jacob.
Things quickly escalate from there, until before they know it the group is forced to flee into the basement where the hidden labs under the mansion are located, but not before losing another one of their members on the way down.
It is here that they eventually run into Abbey, who was seemingly betrayed and left with a severe wound by Vincent. Figuring she does not have much time before expiring, and after being asked about it by Ikeda, Abbey decides to use her remaining strength to reveal to the group everything she knows about the research being conducted on Shironagasu Island, the end results of said research, and what Vincent likely seeks to use it for.
After learning everything they can, the group leave Abbey behind to try and track Vincent down...
