Return to Shironagasu Island (Pt 7): Neo Uncovers the Identity of the Killer & Their Motive
19[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Neo/Ikeda uses a ploy to ultimately trick who they believe to be Wizards into revealing their identity...
... and as it turns out, Wizards is none other than Riehl, and when Riehl ends up unwittingly confirming Ikeda's suspicions she eventually confesses the truth, and with that confession comes QUITE the drastic personality change. Ikeda and Neneko then take this opportunity to learn Riehl's real reason for coming to Shironagasu Island, Riehl reveals that Riehl works as an agent to some organization that's taken an interest in the going-ons of Shironagasu Island, and sent Riehl to uncover what she can about the island itself and the activities of its residents... although Riehl herself suspects that the real reason she was sent there was so some client of her bosses that had already visited the island prior wants to destroy any evidence that could link them to the island's illegal activities in some way and that Riehl was sent to the island under false pretenses, although there's no way for Riehl to know for sure. Ikeda ultimately convinces Riehl to continue working together with him and Neneko since doing so will ultimately increase their chances of survival.
Ikeda and Neneko then try using all the testimonies they've gathered to create a timeline of events which they can use to try to figure out the possible identity of the killer, which they think they'll be able to figure out by determine who was lying in their testimony, in addition to figuring out how exactly the killer was able to get to Raymond while avoiding detecting by Raymond himself and anyone else on the mansion grounds.
However, before they could come to a definitive conclusion during their brainstorming session, they discover that Jacob was eavedropping on them and attempts to chase him down, only to witness Jacob try in vain to negotiate with Vincent and Abbey for his life... before getting shot down in cold blood. Vincent and Abbey then give the killer and the survivors an ultimatum: give Vincent and Abbey the "unlock code" within 30 minutes, or face death together at their hands.
With everyones' lives on the line and everyone now running short on time, Neo/Ikeda decide its time for the identity of the killer to finally be revealed and thus captured by them, and decide to use another ploy to trick said killer into lowering their guard so they can be captured...
