Nothing like a phone call where neither person wants to hang up and it almost turns into neochimochimochi (an adorable term for falling asleep on the phone, especially with a lover). Hisupi is so sweet and adorable, she might not always show it in the most straightforward way but she really cares for her listeners so much. If you’ve never seen them, be sure to check out her twitcasting streams, they’re a lot more relaxed and low-key than her youtube stuff and she’ll often just be having a comfy chat while doing housework, making/eating a meal, and stuff like that. It gives a great feeling of being invited into her mundane day-to-day life.

I make these clips in large part to practice my not so great Japanese. My friend Cherem helps me with them which I really appreciate and makes them a lot better. 0:45 The needle mark (🪡) is the oshi mark she uses on her sub account on twitter, @Hisui_Jagged. It represents her ‘adult’ form. (Hisupi can change her physical age between any number ending in 4.) This is in contrast to her ‘normal’ oshi mark on her main account @Hisui_Kitakoji, the green sparkle (❇️).
4:20 “Gachikoi,” literally “serious love,” refers to a person with a serious crush on an idol, vtuber, etc.
