Scooby-Doo: Showdown in Ghost Town in 14:42
Speedrun begins at 1:16 in the video. Everything pretty much went perfectly, the main things being finding the gold brick on the first screen of Boot Hill, and not messing up afterwards. The only real trick in this run is at 14:53, and could be loosely defined a deathwarp. Basically, if you click on background objects a bunch of times, the Faceless Rider will pop up out of nowhere and immediately scare you back to the first screen. It saves a couple seconds from having to walk back there manually.
This could definitely go below a 14:40, and even a 14:30, but that would be outrageously difficult to get. Pretty much the only mistake I made was around 13:16, where the game wouldn't let me give scooby snacks. Lost about four seconds due to that crap, but the actual goal here was for sub-15, and I'm overall happy with this.
Some of the game's quirks to note:
-All of the game's cutscenes do show on the native PC, but about half of them will not show up in the stream, although their audio still plays. If you want to see some of the cutscenes that aren't shown, check out a let's play or something.
-Livesplit hotkeys will not work as long as the game is in fullscreen, so I need to minimize the game in order to get the timer to work.
-The only cutscene in the game that can be skipped is the very first one, although it's very inconsistent. Since grinding out a first cutscene skip for a good time would be a MAJOR nuisance, time starts at the first in-game click, rather than at pressing "Play".
