This is Serious Sam 3 in Fusion 2017 with OpenAL Soft's HRTF [IRC_1037 tables]. For the longest time, I thought OpenAL Soft's HRTF was disabled by the devs due to their answer in a Steam forums thread (). However, with the help of the Discord member "eksha", I was able to get this game working by disabling the software mixer (see settings below). The positional audio is relatively unchanged from Serious Sam 3: BFE's engine, thankfully. Considering how Fusion 2017 makes the original SS3 and SSHD remakes obsolete, it was important to get this game working with HRTF. You lose the software reverb effects (which strangely are not EFX calls), but it's an acceptable trade-off.

Unlike regular Serious Sam 3 BFE, the OpenAL32.dll is actually in the game's \bin directory. I apologize for the low volume; trying to play the game as quiet as possible to preserve the dynamic range highlights how badly mixed the enemy spawn sound is.
