Shadowrun Returns: Dead Man’s Switch Part 37: The Cruel Cyber World
0So, after borking up real bad and leaving one of my allies to just bleed out on the floor, we continue our way up to the next floor and begin hacking our way into their network to try and salvage this terrible run. As the title of the video explains, we spend most of our time in the cyber world because, as you might’ve guessed, I kept messing up a few times and actually got booted out of the system at one point. If you’ve ever wondered what happens to someone that dies within the Cyberworld, they simply get forcibly kicked out of the system and take some damage (thank god this wasn’t like the Matrix otherwise we would’ve be another man down). This video show also shows you why I’m not a huge fan of the moving through zones that have been cleared/are “safe” because, instead of letting us move freely, we have to move as we do in combat (you know, moving a certain amount of spaces before ending a turn to move again). Either way, this is all my fault because I fell right into a trap and panicked like crazy which seems to be a recurring thing within this one run.
