Silent Hill 3 Walkthrough Part 8: The Seal (Leonard Wolf Boss Fight)
2Heather navigates Brookhaven Hospital as it is taken over by the same nightmarish phenomenon that she already encountered in the shopping mall and office building, continuing her search for elusive Leonard Wolf. After eventually tracking him down in a large, flooded area below one of the patient rooms on the hospital's ground floor, unseen Leonard initially acts friendly towards Heather, thanking her for "helping him escape". However, as he once again starts deriding Claudia's idea of all-inclusive paradise, Heather realizes that Leonard is still firmly entrenched with The Order's beliefs as he believes that the paradise should only be open to those worshipping the cult's demonic God while so-called heathens should be allowed to perish. As Leonard asks Heather for her opinion on the matter, Heather reveals that she doesn't share neither Claudia's nor Leonard's vision of paradise, enraging Leonard who accuses Heather of tricking him in order to steal his seal, ultimately revealing himself to be a towering, disfigured monstrosity as he engages Heather in combat. After a brief fight, Leonard is killed while Heather wakes up in dilapidated but empty version of the hospital. As she gets up to leave, she notices a small item on the ground, recognizing it as the seal mentioned by Leonard. With her mission in the hospital completed, Heather heads back towards Jack's Inn to rendezvous with Douglas.
Meanwhile, Vincent and Claudia have arrived in Jack's Inn as well with Claudia angrily confronting Vincent for his role in directing Heather towards Leonard, resulting in his death. In response, Vincent reminds her of the fact that Leonard regularly physically abused her as a child, having witnessed some of the abuse first-hand. As they continue their conversation, it shifts onto Claudia's vision of paradise with Claudia taking some of Vincent's comments as blasphemous with Vincent revealing that unlike Claudia, he isn't interested in spending his life working only towards The Order's ultimate goal of unleashing their God and its apocalyptic "paradise" onto Earth but is also interested in fulfilling his physical existence as well.
Soon after Claudia leaves, Heather reaches Jack's Inn, finding Vincent in the room where she was to meet up with Douglas. Upon asking him about Douglas, Heather learns that Douglas has managed to track down the location of The Order's church on the other side of town, warning her that she will have to go through Lakeside Amusement Park in order to reach the church. Deciding to trust him, Heather heads towards the amusement park, experiencing an eerie sense of deja vu since corroded, monster-infested amusement park is the same one she had seen in her nightmare shortly before her quest for revenge began...
