Silent Hill 4: The Room Walkthrough Part 4: Water Prison
After the events of Wish House orphanage, Henry once again jumps into the hole in his bathroom, finding himself in a circular hallway where he hears a man screaming for help, claiming that someone named Walter is going to kill him with Henry eventually finding him locked in one of the cells built within the hallway. As he investigates the abandoned, decayed structure, Henry discovers that it was once a prison housing disobedient children from Wish House orphanage and that it was also ran by the local religious sect, the prison being a place where sect members and their outside affiliates abused and even murdered children from the orphanage with some of the young prisoners having even taken their own lives to escape the torture inflicted upon them. Eventually, Henry discovers that due to the prison building's design, its three segmented parts can be rotated independently from each other with this feature having been used by the guards to dispose of the corpses of the dead children through specifically designed chutes in some of the cells on the third floor while Henry intends to exploit it to gain access into the secret torture chamber apparently hidden behind code-locked door in the prison's kitchen area. As he rotates the segments of the prison, cell housing the terrified man met by Henry upon his arrival unlocks with Henry eventually seeing him as he talks to a mysterious boy whom he encountered in Silent Hill woods. As boy walks away, Henry gets the man's attention and inquires about the boy's identity, learning that he is named Walter Sullivan while the man is a former prison guard named Andrew DeSalvo who used to work in the prison currently explored by Henry. He reveals that Walter was successfully indoctornated by the sect running Wish House orphanage and that he was especially interested in a ritual known as "descent of the Holy Mother" before walking away, showing increasing fear and panic as he does. After eventually reaching the prison's kitchen and opening the code-locked door there, Henry finds himself in a water-filled torture room where he quickly discovers Andrew's corpse floating in the water with numbers 18/21 being carved into his stomach. As he wakes up back in room 302, Henry finds a note slipped under his door, seemingly written by a man who used to live in the apartment before Henry, revealing that the numbers carved into murder victims Henry encounters represent their numbers in the killing spree perpetrated by none other than Walter Sullivan, the note revealing that the number of victims has increased since the note was written. As he reads the note, Henry overhears a conversation between Eileen and Frank about strange situation in Henry's apartment with Frank revealing that the similar incident has occurred with the apartment's previous resident...
