Silpheed: Super Dogfighter Game Sample - PC

One would think that this game isn't as varied or doesn't perform as well as its more modernized counterparts, but this game plays surpisingly well, with the ability to do lots of point scoring, grab power-ups, gain extra weapons between levels, go through levels with scrolling scenery and all. This game is incredible from a technical standpoint (it even attempts to implement spoken dialogue, which just sounds funny). The music is great, and this game sure is challenging. You're also presented with many levels for a shooter, a whooping twenty!
I can tell that this was more than a video game to Game Arts - it was a labor of love. Enjoy.
