So, it's been a while, hasn't it? I've been wanting to play SD again for a while, but haven't yet found a map that's particularly suitable for it. You know the drill, some maps having very linear progression design that you couldn't circle the enemy around, enemy placement hitting the slaughterwad bar, and so on. Wasn't until recently when I found a map that seems fit for another SD run, and after launching an NFR of it, I can confirm that it's just right.

Well, I wouldn't say that it's particularly easy. I've had to turn jumping and crouching on first so I can actually sneak around, for one. Some of the bits in this map were difficult enough that I've had to use some tricksy tricks up my sleeves, like closing in bit-by-bit to pick up one of the keycards without triggering the ambush that comes with it. That last bit with the pain elemental, revenant, imp, and archvile squadron was certainly a toughie, but I'm still glad that it's all still possible to go through in the end. Just wished that I could've ghosted instead of killing the lot, but well, such is the nature of unpredictable stealth.
