Okay, so the opposition League Power is fairly low. Given that we face opposition with four hundred more points than us occasionally, I think I'm allowed this once in a while, particularly when my apparent skill level has my flopping against a wall uselessly within ten seconds. My squidmates capture the Splat Zones, which is good, and I press the advantage a little before dodging away from a Hammer. I make use of the Grim Range Blaster to keep my distance and still threaten and ink, only moving back up to the Splat Zones when it looks safe.

Inking the edges gets me a lucky splat, and chasing a falling Roller puts me in the right place at the right time for another. Heading back to the Splat Zones has me running right in to the Octobrush, which I only survive thanks to Ink Armour. I pause to gather myself, and recover ink, and get a splat on the Splattershot who shows as much keenness as naivety by keeping to run forwards. We cover the entrances to the Splat Zones and hold off the orange team nicely for a while, but they overcome our defence to capture the Splat Zones and push us back.

I approach the Splat Zones with caution, not wanting to rush in to anything silly, but the orange team are keeping the area held down nicely. It's not easy to get a foothold of ink, and I get a bit too close to the action before the turf is ready. After a good start, I realise that I can do better, so take a breath and take a different approach. I can use the range of my Range Blaster to hit the Splat Zones from the side whilst giving myself an exit, and some fancy footwork and decent covering blasts am able to help splat the orange team away, leaving the Splat Zones ours to capture.

Rather than press our advantage immediately, I let the orange team rush back the direct route for some potential splats, which works out pretty well. That gives us more time, and inks their approaches as they are splatted, pressing our advantage naturally. I keep making use of my weapon's range to good effect, closing off approaches and perches from a safe range. Before long, we have recovered the lead, giving me the confidence to push forwards, where Ink Armour saves my skin again, so I withdraw. But it's all good. Before I can get back to the Splat Zones, the battle is won. Woomy!
