It's a very cautious start from me, partly because League Quad teams have inklings better than me, partly because I'm trying not to rush in to trouble like I tend to. One flanking route is busy, so it gets a Chicken, and I'm not sure if anyone is trying to flank us from the other side, so it's just more Chickens for a bit. When I do push forwards, the Inkbrush is there, and quite how I survive their flicks and Splashdown I don't know. Still, I do, and I let loose an Ink Storm and Chicken before running away. The Chicken finds a target, which is nice, and my retreat fins me behind the Inkbrush. I don't splat them in time to save our Sting Ray, but I do splat them.

Circling back towards the Tower has an unlucky inkling run in to a nicely thrown Chicken, and my Ninja Squid keeps me suitably hidden to catch the super-jumper briefly returning to the fray. The Tower is ours, so I watch our back and flank, giving chase to the Inkbrush, but giving up when too much green ink is ahead of me and resorting to throwing Chickens again. Still, I don't object when the Inkbrush comes back my way.

We've lost the Tower, and I'm not quite sure why I think I can jump on to it from there, but I make the most of the circumstances. Chasing the Dualies is reckless, but somehow works, but otherwise I just keep a couple of the inklings preoccupied as my squidmates regroup. So much pink ink makes a super-jump return worthwhile, and there follows a bit of mayhem, where I'm flicking ink but hitting nothing, my squidmates doing all the hard work. I don't even get the splat on the Inkbrush running straight our way, but that's okay, and I help out by splatting the Roller clambering on to our Tower.

I press forwards as a Sting Ray from behind adds some good pressure. They don't need protecting this time, so I just skirmish along the Tower's path, still not really doing much. I think I did stuff at the start of the battle, though, which I have time to think about as I run in circles as the Tower trundles to the goal. Woomy!
