My League squidmate drops their controller, so it's no surprise that the yellow team bursts the Rainmaker with little resistance. Despite this, and all the turf control they get from the Rainmaker shield inksploding, the Rainmaker just sits there, and for a bit too long in my opinion. With just enough blue ink around it, I make a grab-and-dash for the Rainmaker, diving away from the action to steal an early lead.

I slow down a bit, knowing the importance of support when carrying the Rainmaker, and the entire squad comes to my aid. Nice! I get an accidental splat when trying to hit a Torpedo, but that's okay, and the way ahead looks clear. It is too, all the way to the podium. Woomy! I'm surprised at the almost complete lack of splats from the yellow team too.
