I'm moving away from my comfy Splat Bombs to use the Firefin Splatterscope, which poses problems of not having Splat Bombs. Still, it'll probably do me good, particularly if I can work out how to use Splash Walls effectively. I also have to remember how to use the Splatterscope effectively, which means not getting immediately close to the opposition. That was a silly move. I think my Splash Wall thrown over the ledge is a good move. Even if it doesn't protect me, it may be on the path of the Tower, which poses problems for the other team. Better still, splatting the inkling off the Tower always helps.

I lay down some ink, advance down the blind corridor, find nothing there and the Tower heading backwards, so go back myself to get a nice instinctive splat on a flanker. The Tower is cleared by squidmates, so I get back to turfing, and set myself up on the flank for the best sight-lines. A Suction Bomb Rush takes some pressure off me, and a full tank lets me throw out a really nice Splash Wall to stand behind.

I ink more turf, replace the Splash Wall, and try to apply some pressure to the Hydra Splatling, which brings me in to the sights of the Squiffer. I defend with a Splash Wall and luckily get my Suction Bomb Rush charged, and just when the Tower comes our way again. I get a splat with the Suction Bombs, but the Squiffer is hard to shake off. Another Splash Wall serves me well, as I squid to the other side of it, and a squidmate splats the Squiffer away.

Back to inking turf and protecting the flank, charging another Suction Bomb Rush to throw inky pressure everywhere, accidentally splatting the Squiffer myself this time. The purple team get on the Tower again, and more jinking around gets me another instinctive splat to clear the Tower, letting us ride it forwards a little, but the Squiffer's movement is excellent and gets behind us. I can't react quickly enough.

My next Splash Wall is pretty useless, and withdrawing to recover ink has my moving up to get involved with the Squiffer again. Advantage them, as I am backed in to a corner, and still trying to work out Splash Wall angles, and as I cover the corridor the purple team trundle in to the lead. I didn't realise they were so close! I move back to help clear the Tower, but we have our work cut out for us now, and we're not helped by so much turf being purple.

Having the Hydra Splatling in the middle of the Warehouse is dangerous too, and the purple team extend their lead. I try to splat the inklings off the Tower, but Splash Walls are kinda hard to see through, and they have all moved up in support too. I manage to splat the Squiffer away, but am in a tough position and inky with it, as Tenta Missiles fly in. My squidmates just about stop the push, but with less than thirty seconds on the clock, and most of the Warehouse to traverse, the battle looks lost.

We do what we can to stick to the Tower and splat the purple team, but it's just too tall an order in the time left remaining, and we don't even get back to the middle point before the jig is up.
