Are you ready for the anthropomorphic adventure of a lifetime? Strap yourself in and do a barrel roll! We're about to dive-in to the premier title of this classic Nintendo franchise. Star Fox, released in February (JP)/March (USA) of 1993, is a rail shooter game that follows the story of 'Fox McCloud and the rest of the Star Fox team, while defending their homeworld of Corneria against the invading forces of Andross.
Star Fox was the first Nintendo game to use polygonal graphics, achieved with the marvelous Super FX graphics chip included in the cartridge. The complex display of three-dimensional models with polygons was uncommon in console games at the time.
Upon starting a new game, the player is asked to choose between three paths: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. This video is a full playthrough for Level 1. It includes the following stages:
