MISSION 14 - SPECIAL INTEL

You might be wondering what we're still doing here in field training, as we clearly graduated in the last mission. Well, fee free to go ahead and skip this one. This mission popped up in field training after we finished Mission 13, however it's not really a field training exercise. There's only one turn, or day rather. What you have to do here is simply select various new options and simply listen to Nell describe them a bit.

On the field, you can select the fighter, which is your own deployed unit. Nell will explain a situation in which you know there is an enemy unit hidden in the fog of war, but want to avoid them. All units can choose the path in which they want to travel: a straight line or something more circuitous. The fighter is an air unit, so it doesn't matter that there is a bridge between us, you can fly completely around the square which contains the hidden unit.

You can also select the port, base and airport. Nell will explain basically the same thing three times, namely that each one deploys a different type of unit: sea, land and air. Each different type of unit has its own unique cost, with the stronger units having a higher cost. You can not move a unit on the same turn it's deployed.

Additionally if you open the command menu, Nell will explain the 'Options' command. If you select 'End' to end your turn as usual, Nell will explain that the training exercise is over. Ok, now we're officially done with Field Training! It's campaign time...
