Stardew Valley 232 :: Searching for Volcano Chests
We harvest our farm products as usual in the morning! In the afternoon, we head to the Ginger Island volcano to look for rare weapons and rings that we have not seen before. We find four chests in total, but unfortunately they do not contain anything of interest to us!
After checking the television, we speak to Alex who has cooked us a nice omelette! We store it in the kitchen before going outdoors. We receive a nice rainbow shell in the mail from Demetrius! On the farm, we collect some hops, wild honey and tomatoes.
While picking tomatoes, we hear a ding and realise that we have completed the first part of Lewis's crop order! Now, we just need to ship 100 tomatoes to complete the quest. We harvest more hops and go into the cave to find some mushrooms!
Behind the shed of crystalariums, we chop down some wild trees! We enter the shed to pick up some jade gemstones. Then, we head over to the pen to interact with the animals and collect their products! We store our items in the chests before heading to Leah's cabin to find her.
Seems like Leah is working on her sculpture as usual! We head to Emily's house, but she is not at home. Since it is Tuesday, she is probably exercising with the other ladies! In town, we talk to Elliott and Lewis. We head to Pierre's where we indeed find Emily and speak to her!
We also speak to the other villagers at the aerobics class. We have nothing to buy from Pierre's today, but we speak to him and his daughter! After checking the town's rubbish bins, we enter the Saloon to see what is for sale, but Gus is not tending the bar yet.
Returning to the farm, we chop down a tree at the bus stop! Pam tells us about her past dreams and we feel a little sad for her. At least she has a job which she enjoys! We store away our items and give Alex a kiss before picking up our mining equipment.
On Ginger Island, it is raining so the beach resort is closed for the day! We take the parrot express to get to the volcano and venture into the mines. Since we are looking for treasure chests, we try not to spend too much time slaying the monsters!
When we reach floor 2, we find a mushroom level! Floor 3 gives us our first treasure chest at the end of a small maze, and it contains some taro tubers! Across a lava moat, we see another chest and use our watering can to get to it! It contains a soul sapper ring.
Walking to the top of floor 4, we see that the exit is locked behind a gate! We backtrack to look for a button. After a little searching, we finally find the button beside a lava stream! We pour water onto the lava to solidify it so we can walk across.
Past the dwarven trader, we find another treasure chest on floor 6! It contains more taro tubers, which is an useful item but not too rare. We place down some bombs on this floor as it seems to have a good amount of ore and cinder shards!
On floor 8, we see a button in the corner and quickly realise that it is another gated floor! We find the other button in the left corner and proceed to floor 9, where we find a guaranteed treasure chest. After dealing with some monsters, we activate all the buttons and pick up a dwarf hammer from the chest!
It is already quite late! At the caldera of the volcano, we quickly activate our warp totem and return to the farmhouse. We refill our watering can and store away some items before we collapse on the floor of our living room.
