The base expands with a sprawling & nonstandard smelter array outside the walls, as if I don't care about security. Which is mostly true. I'm not sure the mod quite expected me to use the landmines & turrets like that. I'm maintaining the theme of mixed smelting & tangled belt sushi pasta, but is that really the mission's fault or my own? Especially as I'm enjoying it?
I don't progress the objectives, that's on me, I head for the closer & weaker ore deposits instead of the mining outposts the mod strongly urged me to consider. Probably a mistake, but it's fine. I'd need to build all that stuff soon anyway. It increments the throughput. The base is doing what it should but is that really what the base should be doing?
