What if I told you that right now was the absolute most convenient, least frustrating time to play retro Nintendo games?

I’ve been playing through entire games from Nintendo’s back catalog faster than I ever have, and I’ll tell you how in today’s One-Minute Retro Game Review where we’re looking at Super Mario Bros.

I love playing old games on original hardware. But I can’t deny the convenience of modern technology. Specifically, emulation.

You may have heard that Nintendo is very anti-emulation, but I’m actually using a service that Nintendo offers to all Nintendo Switch Online Members.

You get access to tons of old retro games. And, believe it or not, they’re played via emulation right on the Switch.

Because they’re emulated, you can pause and save your progress at any time, which is amazingly convenient.

But my favorite thing you can do is rewind the game if you mess up, so you can try again.

This means you can go back, and experience games like Super Mario Bros in no time at all, with zero frustration.

This game is a classic for a reason. It’s an important piece of Mario and Nintendo history that’s 100% absolutely worth experiencing, whether it’s for your first time, or your 100th.
