You know, we don’t get a whole lot of big VR games.

But on December 7th, Arizona Sunshine 2 is releasing. It’s the sequel to the much beloved zombie shooter from 2016.

The original Arizona Sunshine hit when VR gaming was just starting to take off, and most of the games were, let’s just say, “not that great”.

But Arizona Sunshine had critics praising it as the first title for VR that players could enjoy from start to finish.

The PlayStation VR version, which came out later, wasn’t as well received. But still, it amazes me how often Arizona Sunshine comes up when people talk about their favorite VR games.

Now, admittedly, in the time since that original game, we’ve had a lot of really great survival first-person shooters come out on VR.

So there’s a lot more competition than there used to be. But, I have to say, this sequel looks super fun. And the controls seem much better than the original.

You have your choice on where to play it as well, as Arizona Sunshine 2 is coming to PC, Meta Quest, and PlayStation VR2.
