I have a really hard time recommending the PlayStation VR2. But this, right here, might just turn things around.

Today’s one-minute game review is on Gran Turismo 7s VR mode.

First things first, when you play this game using the PSVR2, it’s the full game, not a small side mode.

All of the driving takes place in full, immersive VR, but the rest of the game, like the world map and menus, are displayed as a flat screen, just like how it is if you play a non-VR game using the headset.

The inside cabins of each car are immaculately detailed.

When you combine that with the amazing lighting and reflections, realistic 3D audio, and haptic feedback, it creates a truly amazing VR experience.

I was surprised at how realistic the driving felt, even though I was using a Dual Sense controller. I can only imagine how crazy it would be with a great racing wheel.

Usually I’m not that interested in realistic driving simulators, like Gran Turismo, but there’s something about playing in VR that makes it so much more fun to me.

If you have a PSVR2, or are a huge fan of cars and racing, this is a must-play experience.
