We're back and we're about to finish the main story, right now! When we last left off, we moved up the Weapon World Factory's corporate leadership. First facing off against a Clerk, then the Manager, then the Director. But that wasn't enough though, because afterwards we took on the Factory Chief.

Production has not stopped however, so we must continue forward. Mario and Co. press the green button on the floor, which activates a claw and drops us down the chute where all the Weapon monsters are coming from...

What's gonna happen?

CHAPTER 24 - FINAL BOSS & ENDING

As we land, we arrive in Smithy's workshop. It appears he has the power to transform metal, simply by hitting it with his hammer. Mario and Co. try to talk him out of continuing. We've already defeated all his minions, so they ask him to hand over the 7th Star Piece, which is currently adorning his body.

Smithy instead offers to take all their Star Pieces, so they can get rid of wishes and conquer the world!

BOSS BATTLE - Smithy (phase one)/Smelter/Shyper - (HP - 2,000/1,500/400, Weakness - Lightning (Smelter)

This is a long battle, spread out over multiple phases/forms. As it should be for a final boss, right? You start off with Smithy and Smelter. The Smelter will occasionally produce 'Shyper's. While these aren't that tough to beat, they do sometimes have strong moves like 'Sword Rain'.

So it's recommended you take some time to first pick off the Smelter, which is also weak against lightning. Once the Smelter is out of the picture, you can really clean up quickly. When you finish this phase, Smithy will start to hammer the ground. His minions will warn him that the foundation is weak.

He doesn't listen and continues to hammer away. Everyone falls below to a lower area. Now the second and longer phase begins...

BOSS BATTLE - Smithy (phase two)/Body - (HP - 8,000/1,000), Weakness - Lightning (Tank form), Ice (Casket form) and Fire (Treasure Chest form)

Smithy has form different forms, which he will cycle through randomly. The Wizard form has no weakness, however it seems more susceptible to physical attacks. The Tank form is weak against Lightning, the Casket is weak against Ice and then finally the Treasure Chest is weak against Fire.

Smithy's HP is 8,000, but that is total across all these forms. So pull out all the stops and use everything, as this is the final battle! When you finally win, you'll be treated to the game's ending and final credits. Enjoy!
