The next character I use for Classic Mode is Falco Lombardi, and while he was a top tier character in both Melee and Brawl, Falco is placed in the lower tiers in this game due to most of the nerfs he received in this game. He is an unlockable character in both versions of Super Smash Bros. 4, and both of them are to do with completing Classic Mode, in the 3DS version, Falco is unlocked by completing Classic Mode without any continues, while in the Wii U version, it is complete Classic Mode, and for Vs. Matches, in the 3DS version, play 20 Vs. Matches, and in the Wii U version, 10 Vs. Matches, Falco is one of the first characters you can unlock in this game, previously it used to be Jigglypuff that would be the character you would unlock by completing Classic Mode, and in Brawl, it was Marth.
Going over Classic Mode, in Rounds 1 to 3, you fight characters that use their default costumes, in Round 4 and 5, you fight characters in their alternate costumes, in Round 6, you fight against the Fighting Mii Team, and in the final round, you fight against Master Hand, or on Intensity 3.0 or higher, you fight Crazy Hand as well, or on an even higher Intensity, you fight against Master Core.
Next are Falco's custom moves, as this is the only game in the series to have custom moves, first is Blaster, the first custom variant is Explosive Blaster, which pushes opponents away, the shots travel slowly and it explodes when it stops, it does not damage until the laser explodes, and the other custom variant is Blaster Burst, like Fox's Blaster, it has rapid fire and opponents do not flinch from the lasers. Next is Falco Phantasm, the first custom move for the side special is Falco Phase, Falco cannot be hit while dashing, but the move cannot hit opponents, the move is quicker, but it has less momentum, and the other custom variant is Falco Chase, which is a shorter dash with half distance and it travels slower, but it has increased damage and knockback at the beginning of the move. Then for his up special, Fire Bird, the first custom variant is Fast Fire Bird, Falco can dash instantly, but he does not travel as far, and the other variant for that move is Distant Fire Bird, which takes longer to charge and is slower, but it does travel farther, and it hits opponents harder. Then Reflector, which Falco kicks around when he uses it, the first custom variant is Accele-Reflector, which can only reflect projectiles while move forward, but it moves faster and reflected projectiles at double the speed, and the reflector is coloured green, and the other custom variant is Reflector Void, the reflector is coloured purple, and it destroys absorbable projectiles instead of reflecting them, example are moves like Samus's Charge Shot, it does still reflect regular projectiles, but it deals less damage, and the knockback is identical to Falco's Reflector in Melee.
