I will be going by roster order for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and the next character is Luigi. In the Super Smash Bros. series, Luigi has traditionally been an unlockable character, but this game is an exception, Luigi is on the starting roster in this game, which is the first and so far the only time Luigi has been available from the start, I guess you could say the same about this game's 3DS counterpart, which is basically the same game, but has some different modes.
As the last time I have played this game was before the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there might be times where I end up not being too used to it, as I am more used to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate than to this game, for example, Luigi doesn't use his Poltergust for his grabs in this game, I don't tend to like playing as Luigi in this game compared to Ultimate, I didn't mind him in Brawl, he was decent in Melee, and in 64 he was very similar to Mario, the advantage was Luigi can jump higher.
Going over Classic Mode, Rounds 1 to 3 are against regular characters, Rounds 4 to 5 are against characters that use alternate costumes and custom moves, Round 6 is against the Fighting Mii Team, and Round 7 is against Master Hand, on Intensity 3.0 or higher, you fight against Crazy Hand alongside Master Hand, and on Intensity 5.1 or higher, you fight against Master Core's forms, and completing Classic Mode earns you the Trophy for that character, and you can buy the alternate Trophy for that character, which are the ones used for Rounds 4 to 5 when you have completed Classic Mode or All-Star Mode with that character.
I will explain about Luigi's custom moves, much like how when I did Classic Mode with Mario, I explained about Mario's custom moves, the reason I am explaining about this is because this is the only game in the Super Smash Bros. series to have custom moves, unless you count Super Smash Bros. for 3DS as the same game as this one when it has different stages and modes to this game.
Starting with Luigi's Fireball, Custom 1 is Bouncing Fireball, which acts as Mario's Fireball where they bounce on the ground, and they do less damage the further they travel, and Custom 2 is Iceball, which moves slower, and it can freeze opponents starting from around 40% to 50% based on that character's weight. Luigi has Green Missile for his side special, the first custom move is Floating Missile, which charges up much quicker than Green Missile, but doesn't deal as much damage, and the second custom move is Quick Missile, where Luigi flies faster and further than normal, but it takes longer to charge, and Luigi slides across the ground when he misses. Luigi's Super Jump Punch is different to Mario's, the difference is Luigi's is more powerful when it hits the sweet spot, for his custom moves, the first one is Fiery Jump Punch, which makes it easier to hit the sweet spot, but Luigi does not go as high than with Super Jump Punch, and his second custom move is Burial Header, where you don't have the sweet spot, but you fall much faster and can bury grounded opponents. Next is Luigi Cyclone, his down special, the first one is Mach Cyclone, which does not deal damage except for the final hit, it blows opponents away, and Luigi can gain extra height when the move ends. Clothesline Cyclone is slow, but powerful, it has a higher knockback and launches opponents sideways. His Final Smash is Poltergust 5000, while his Final Smash in Ultimate uses Poltergust G-00, even though they are both the same Final Smash move, this is because the most recent game in the Luigi's Mansion series at the time of the release of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U was Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, otherwise known as Luigi's Mansion 2, and while Luigi does have Poltergeist G-00 from Luigi's Mansion 3, that game was not released at the time Super Smash Bros. Ultimate came out.
