Super Smash Bros. Melee - Sheik VS 15 Minute Melee
Welcome to the 15 Minute Melee project. Here, I will make videos of doing 15 Minute Melee with various characters under certain conditions. Yep, an accomplishment that you certainly couldn't expect from people like the Hyphy Movement, the Uni-Mind including trolls, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters. The purpose of this project is to help players learn skills that could help in dealing with Meta Knight in Brawl, who abuses the Glass Cannon metagames that have dubious at best standards. And please don't complain, because I'm doing this when in general, I DON'T HAVE PATIENCE.
Now the conditions are no Screw Attack abuse, B button usage is limited purely to recovery, no (intentional) airdodging or glitch abuse, and getting as many KOs as feasible.
Since there are only a few characters left to do, I will now accept only one character vote per person. Since Zelda and Sheik are done, there is no need to worry about which one of them to vote.
Sheik's stats:
*Classification: Fragile Speedster + (stats at the cost of abilities)
*Specialty: stat usage
*Smash bonus: instantaneous attacking
*Notes: general speed KO problems, side airs have trouble KOing, Forward Tilt and Down Tilt KOs but Up Tilt doesn't
Don't be fooled by the KO count, because I had trouble getting KOs with Sheik, seeing as she, like Peach, doesn't get fast KOs very well. Though she does make up for it with overwhelming speed. It's ironic how she, Fox, and Falco are ALL considered top tier. I can agree with that even without the chaingrab/infinite nonsense, which just goes to show that low end attack power needs to be actually punishable.
Anyway, be sure to use Up Air and Down Air. Up Air provides reach KOs, Down Air provides quick ones if you can work with its shoddy range. Grabs are standard. Forward Tilt manages high reach for its speed, Down Tilt provides speed. And the smashes? Well, you'll want to use Up Smash in situations where you just need timing so as to get faster KOs, and Down Smash to ensure you hit anything that gets near you. Forward Smash also works, just be sure to watch the air above you so that you don't have some Wireframe get right behind you as you attack.
B Moves: Needle Storm (Neutral B) and Chain (Side B) can't KO, but Vanish (Up B) can with the explosion. Transform (Down B) is for switching to Zelda if you want to do that.
