I am playing as Falco Lombardi in this Classic Mode video, and when I randomized my list, which is what I always do whenever I do Classic Mode videos, and at the time I randomized the list, I had five characters left, and Falco is the 4th one remaining. I do randomize a list, but my playlist will display the fighters in order of how they are displayed on the roster, Falco's Classic Mode route is Soar Above the Darkness, and his opponents are dark versions of main characters, some of them use alternate costumes referencing those characters.
To unlock Falco, there are many different ways, one of them is through Vs. Matches, where Falco is the 32nd character to be unlocked, and he is the 4th character unlocked by completing Classic Mode with Fox or anyone in his unlock tree after Peach.
In Round 1, you fight Dark Samus, and the stage you fight her on is Frigate Orpheon, in Round 2, your opponent is Dark Pit, and the stage is Reset Bomb Forest. In Round 3, you fight Link and Toon Link, both use the Dark Link alternate costume, and the stage is Bridge of Eldin, in Round 4, you fight Lucas, he uses his Masked Man alternate costume, and the stage is New Pork City. In Round 5, your opponent is Captain Falcon, and the stage is Port Town Aero Dive, Captain Falcon uses his Blood Falcon alternate costume for that fight, and in Round 6, you fight a Giant Mr. Game & Watch on Find Mii, or StreetPass Quest in Europe, and this could be a reference to some Event Matches in Brawl and Smash 4 where you would play as Falco, and your opponent would be Mr. Game & Watch, so it would continue the trend of having Falco battle Mr. Game & Watch in a 1-Player Mode where you use him.
Next is the Bonus Stage, and at the end, you fight against Crazy Hand, Falco is one of two characters to fight Crazy Hand as the boss of their Classic Mode routes, but you do against Master Hand as well if you are playing on Intensity 7.0 or higher.
After that, the credits will roll, and the music is Main Theme - Star Fox 64 (Brawl), Star Fox 64 being called Lylat Wars in Europe, and you then earn the Fighter Spirit for Falco if you completed Classic Mode with him for the first time.
