#SuperOldGameSaturday - Bakugan: Defenders of the Core (Xbox 360) - Part 1

Each month here on #SuperOldGameSaturday, we take requests for games our viewers in our best chat on Twitch want to see covered and, for this month, on the gracious request of suikathemerondoge, we're taking a look at an underrated 2010 release based on a popular toy line and anime. It's Bakugan: Defenders of the Core, published by Activision and developed by Now Production for PlayStation 3, Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS and, for our play, Xbox 360. This game is an alternate dimension tale set alongside the 2nd season of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers anime where our custom character (dubbed by chat as Popcorn Man), finds himself trapped in the world of Dan Kuso, Marucho Marukura, Ace Grit, Mira Fermin, Baron Leltoy and Shun Kazami when a group known as the Vexos have taken over, stolen most of the group's Bakugan and have left the group unable to battle... except us. So, we set off on an adventure to save the other Bakugan (starting with Drago, the only one who wasn't captured) in this unique and strategic blend of a stealth game, tower defense game and arena brawler. For our first part of this one, DollyFinn joined us as went through the entirety of the story mode and we were joined by suikathemerondoge, Edwak and company and the debut of jamesgames230 in the best chat on Twitch as we soaked up the narrative of this game and went into everything Bakugan, including our experience with the franchise (and others adjacent to it), our favorite characters and tons of fun facts, insights, tricks and memories related to this game and the Bakugan series, as a whole. We all had a great time for this show and I once again thank suikathemerondoge for the request and input on this show, as well as everything DollyFinn, jamesgames230, Edwak and the gang in the chat also added. Believe it or not, our swift completion of the story mode here means we'll only need one more part for this game, which will be our time with the multiplayer modes and showcase of all of the extra Bakugan, completing with all upgrades and Bakugan cards, which will be on May 3rd.
