After 2 parts of Tomba! for PlayStation here on #SuperOldGameSaturday, we've reached the end of this 2.5D Metroidvania platformer with RPG elements that was brought to you on the gracious request on OneTrueL from our best chat on Twitch. As mentioned on the past part, this is an 100% run of the game, so for the Finale, we completed all 130 of the events, went everywhere there was to go and fought the remaining evil pigs to get back the golden bracelet of Tomba's grandfather, along with more insights and discussions driven by all of you and a live reading of the instruction manual that comes digitally with the PlayStation 3 download version we used for this play. That being said, it didn't take us long to finish Tomba! for this show, so as a bit of a bonus, we also took a brief look at its 1999/2000 sequel, Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return (which unlike the original, I may need to learn to like, let alone love), as well as give a preview of Klonoa: Door to Phantomille, another underrated and now quite pricey whimsical coming-of-age PlayStation 2.5D platforming game (who knew that was a sub-genre on this system?). I also went into my final thoughts on this game, which I can't thank OneTrueL enough for the request of, as this was a great gaming discovery for me that reminded me why I love the viewer requests so much and why they're the bedrock of this program, so keep them coming and I promise we will get to them and give them the same full treatment as Tomba! or anything else featured here.
