As always, a number of package updates are available for the core components . Tor browser is said to be updated to 11.0.6 while Thunderbird is said to come with version 91.5. Meanwhile, users who want to upgrade automatically from Tails 4.15, Tails 4.16, Tails 4.17 or Tails 4.18 are advised to follow the relevant instructions . Automatic upgrades are said to be available from Tails 4.19 or later to 4.27. For detailed information about Tails 4.27
Tor Browser 11.0.5 announced
The 11.0.5 version of Tor Browser , the famous security tool that provides the ability to hide personal information and be anonymous on the Internet, has been announced. It is stated that Tor Browser 11.0.5 is available from the download page and distribution directory. While this version is said to contain important security updates for Firefox, the new version that comes with Firefox 94.1.1 is said to include various bug fixes and stability improvements. While updating Tor 0.4.6.9, OpenSSL 1.1.1m and NoScript 11.2.16; Go is coming with 1.16.12. Meanwhile, Fenix 94.1.1, Tor 0.4.6.9, NoScript 11.2.16, OpenSSL 1.1.1m are also available.
Changes and updates
Update Tor Browser to 11.0.6 .
Update Thunderbird to 91.5 .
Update the Linux kernel to 5.10.92. This should improve the support for newer hardware: graphics, Wi-Fi, and so on.
Fixed issues
Fix connecting to a Wi-Fi network when choosing Open Wi-Fi Settings in the Tor Connection assistant.

Automatic upgrades are broken from Tails 4.18 and earlier.
Follow our instructions for [automatic upgrade from Tails 4.15, Tails 4.16, Tails 4.17, or Tails 4.18|doc/upgrade/error/check#4.18]].
Automatic upgrades are available from Tails 4.19 or later to 4.27.
You can reduce the download size of future automatic updates by manually updating to the latest version.
If you cannot do an automatic update or if Tails fails to start after an automatic update, please try to do a manual update .
